That was really cool...

... I liked the way you gave the options of which fight you wanted to choose - and it was a good number of selections. Some of the graphics were a bit dodgy (like some of the bitmaps e.g. the girl who scares the guy to death) but the sprites were done well, and the intro graphics and the close up at the beginning of the fight were nicely done. How did you do the railings and the opening doors? Was it a 3D program (like Swift) or were they photographed or downloaded? It added a nice dimensional effect. I rated your style 10 because it was pretty unique in it's own way and I just liked it as a clever piece altogether. Thanks for the viewing - but I would say it was more a movie than a game :) Nice Job !

Nice beginning...

This looks like it has the potential to be a great story-themed series. Reminded me a bit of the 'Freak' series, but it was different. I thought the animation was relatively simple but still very effective and the voice over quality was very, very good and gave it an extra 'mysteriousness'. Well done, make Episode 2 (with that nice intro again :P), but don't rush it, make it like this, with a bit more tweeking, and you could have yourself a daily award :)

Thank you, I actually did not think about putting the intro (part 1) with part 2, but that might work. I will work on it, take my time, and not just slap it together. I know it takes a while but I will take the advice given and make the best thing I can with it all.

This should stay on the 'grounds...

... because although it is an 'exhausted' shoot-in-the-head idea, the drawing was extremely well done and this gave it the 'cartoon-book' style. It was reasonably funny though, and the intro button was good, a bit of a change. The sound was the worst section, it just got annoying, but this is worthy, although short, of a place on Newgrounds, with a score around 2 - 'nothing too new or interesting' on its own, but inorporate this style in a longer, fresher idea and you could be looking at a much, much better score!

Cool

This, Gerkinman, was marvellous! I liked the way it 'flash-backed' and how it was in black and white to differentiate. The voices were comical, which added some effect, and the graphics were in your pretty-damn unique style. It is always hard to start a story, but you did it well, and you didn't do the old 'scrolling Star Wars' gimmick.

Good thorough beginning - I hope the next 25 middle parts and the 1 ending follow suit! I'm looking out for 'The Falling Star'. 79% :)

Gerkinman responds:

The Falling Star is underway...slightly lol

What's so funny is that...

... even though this was an April Fools joke, the animation was still worthy of an 'awesome score'! This totally told all the other crap submissions that said "this is a WICKED movie" and then displayed a stickmen, or fake "There She Is! 3"s that you can do a good april fools flash piece, it can be done.

Nice job, Mr. Mindchamber, and as usual, your background art was sublime, just how do you do it so well :)

81% - This is no fool, April!

Nice....

I usually don't look at this kind of 'Lock' or 'Clock' stuff or whatever, but this was in tune to the music, with a great Kim Wilde Number, and the flash was a pleasure to go with it - I'm loving the Goyam bit - great movement and also the American Flag over Iraq :P

CommunistLock responds:

Thank you =D

Quality...

It had:

Great Graphics, well drawn, can't fault you really a brilliant 9/10

Top Style, a fantastic parody, brilliantly written 10/10

Sound was magnificent, fitted in perfectly, only the occasional buzzing but otherwise superb

Violence of 'Madness' quality, the shot through the head - class

Interactivity - all works, nice buttons and loader

Humour, with this tied in with the action-packed animation and quality storyline, it was hilarious, so many jokes, but still an action/thriller of 2005, better story and screenplay than most professional action/thrillers of recent times.

Verdict: Run out of superlatives :)

I haven't given out a 10 in a while...

... but this was absolutely fantastic to the max! Just like the original the graphics were incredibly well draw and animation was smoother than ever. The style is still original, the only thing that is similar in anyway is the original 'There she is!!'. This is a submission that proves you don't need blazing guns and blood to make a good animation, just careful selective techniques. The music was extremely catching and had more of a rock style to it which I personally loved! This is the Newgrounds submission of 2005 so far, and by a long, long way!

Verdict: Emphatic, Awesome and Groundbreaking! :D :D :D

Unique

Well, I haven't seen anything like this before, and it was pretty good, but a few suggestions:

Improve the stick man drawing/movements, because if you do this, it'll give it an extra level of interest.

Make the sound more fitting - I mean "Song 2" by Blur is good, but it is overused and the novelty wears off. Also vary the sound effects some more.

Otherwise, this was a great idea, in the continuation use a better 'stickman' and you should be doing good! Congratulations on the Review Crew Pick :)

Average

Compared to Recent Daily Award standard, this is not the best and is lucky that it happened to be a stagnant day in the submission pond. But anyways, deserves a decent score and the graphics were pretty well done at the beginning, but it isn't the best, and there have been better submissions in recent days/weeks that have missed out on Awards because of the amazing quality of their day of submission.

Good Luck for the future, and keep the drawing style like the beginning and the style of sound, but don't go too David Firth, because he overshadows the most of artist :) 64% Not bad.
