Lord of the Fries! Had me laughing before it even started with that title :) This was exceptionally funny, and although I haven't been on Newgrounds long enough to have seen the previous installments, I will take a look at them, because if they are on this level of comedy, I may wet my pants.

Well drawn characters and scenes, the voice-overs were great and diverse, and the style was pretty cool. The humour won it it's score though, and I believe this would make quite a successful sitcom.

Good Flash, I'll be waiting for the next installment.

BaconMask responds:

I value the humor over anything in this series. I fancy myself an above average illustrator, but my main focus is always humor. It's so hard to make people laugh, because a sense of humor is like a thumbprint; no two are alike. I am glad you enjoyed it, though! Thanks for your review!

Very good...

There were a lot of great styles and the sounds chosen were great ( I don't know if they were pre-chosen by the organizer ), but the problem was with the buttons. There were a few buttons missing, and when you pressed 'back to menu' on True_Darkness' piece, it went and played somebody else's.

Otherwise, it was a good, quite original collaboration, and I'm giving you a 9 as a measure of the effort it must have taken to make all the things individually, and for X_D's work on putting it into one file. I will go back and watch some more :)

Xionico responds:

nah, the sounds were by everyone in their own flahes, and yeh i had a few problems with true_darkness and eskimoho, entries, cuz i couldnt eidt them since they were compilated movie clips, thats why i couldnt remove that button, and thanks a lot for ur 9 =D

A great idea...

... I enjoyed watching this a) because I looked at the thread and you know it's like waiting for a game or a movie to come out in the shops and b) because it had variation in styles. To be honest, some of the videos were great, some were blammable, but together it formed an enjoyable piece, and although the graphics on some were fabulous, they didn't need to be overall, because the enjoyable 'lightsaber throw' concept was fun and amusing to watch. I gave you an 8 for Interactivity, purely because of the innovative menu Dark Side/Jedi idea - great way of making a good impression. Overall, I'll give you my vote, and I hope this gets a Daily Award, although it'll be unlikely to on today's quality of submissions... Well Done :)

ConAir responds:

Yeah, thanks for you vote! There were a lot of problems but we should have it all fixed soon, the other author messed up a little bit lol but we should fix it by tomorrow hopefully

HOORAY!

That was INCREDIBLE! You followed up the first with something even better - it flowed perfectly, the storyline didn't fade out, the violence was great, the scripting on the quick movement and blurs added so much, the menu was great (which got you an 'Interactivity' 10 rating), it was funny, and I can't believe I just added my first favourite 'Clock' movie! This is worth a daily award and a weekly award, but in a week that's already had some incredible submissions, it may get less than it deserves. I hope this gets a good Daily Award, and a Weekly Award too.

StrangeClock responds:

Contrasting yesterday, there's some incredibly high rated movies on the portal today so competition is heavy... but with one daily feature I shouldn't get greedy.

Thanks!

JOKES!

You are one of my fave authors an I was just about to check the credits of 'Up Skit's Creek' to find out what the title of the classical song was with the pope/contraception, and then you submit this, which was pretty hilarious! Love your style and especially the use of sound - but what is that song - the classical one that has the drum? I need to find it! Well done again, and although it's a cliched saying - keep up the good work!

TmsT responds:

Thus Spake Zarathustra - by Richard Strauss. I've used it in FAR too many movies! It's a piece that no Flash animator should be without.

Good Work

This has fully deserved it's 'review crew pick', and I thought, although I haven't seen the other ones, that this was a good story and well thought out. Congratulations my friend!

DanyLaporte responds:

Oh thx alot!!! You cant imagine how glad I am to get this price! Thx alot for taking your time watching it and reviewing it!!!

As they say in France...

... l'animation c'etait excellente - guess what that means lol... erm but really well drawn and lip sync-ed pretty well, good dialogue with great humour - best 'First Newgrounds Submission' I've seen for a while, and it did have an air of a successful comedy series - make Ep. 1 and Ep.2 of this soon (maybe release them together?) and keep that humour element there, and the nice drawing style - and since you have chosen 'Space' as your setting, there are pretty much endless possibilities for story - very well done, one of my favourite pieces this year, only a few have had it bettered, but perhaps this could grow to be big.... IT RULED! 89%

grim-studios responds:

Uh... "What is 'the animation is excellent'?" Yay! I win. Thank you for the kind words. :)

Nice beginning...

This looks like it has the potential to be a great story-themed series. Reminded me a bit of the 'Freak' series, but it was different. I thought the animation was relatively simple but still very effective and the voice over quality was very, very good and gave it an extra 'mysteriousness'. Well done, make Episode 2 (with that nice intro again :P), but don't rush it, make it like this, with a bit more tweeking, and you could have yourself a daily award :)

daylight9 responds:

Thank you, I actually did not think about putting the intro (part 1) with part 2, but that might work. I will work on it, take my time, and not just slap it together. I know it takes a while but I will take the advice given and make the best thing I can with it all.

Cool

This, Gerkinman, was marvellous! I liked the way it 'flash-backed' and how it was in black and white to differentiate. The voices were comical, which added some effect, and the graphics were in your pretty-damn unique style. It is always hard to start a story, but you did it well, and you didn't do the old 'scrolling Star Wars' gimmick.

Good thorough beginning - I hope the next 25 middle parts and the 1 ending follow suit! I'm looking out for 'The Falling Star'. 79% :)

Gerkinman responds:

The Falling Star is underway...slightly lol
