I loved it!

Brilliant style... what a huge damn improvement from #3! I loved the way Blockhead is just so carelessly random, but I can tell that to make it funny you've clearly thought about it! I have to ask - did you use any .gifs at all in that for backgrounds and stuff? I could see you'd drawn the wood (it was really wood-like!), but like at the beginning the psychiatrist's from outside?

Anyway great work... I'll put it on my faves, and although they need sortin' out - this will definitely stay!

The-Swain responds:

Well, I didn't draw the gravestones or mausoleum in the intro, but I didn't think I'd have to. Everything else was mine. All other non-flash backgrounds are by me, but in Photoshop.

Also, I'm glad you liked it!

The reason this gets a ten...

...is because for a first movie this has a storyline, decent animation and graphics (even if the style isn't original), the buttons were all good, and it looked like a professional standard movie layout. Really, really good first attempt - the 10 should give you encouragement!

Lovin' It.

Short and sweet. There's nothing more too it, but it works wonderfully well, the humour and randomness of it all fits in well, with the new Flash 8 techniques you were experimenting with (I guess!). I like your logo too... altogether, good stuff from Wonchop :)

Wonchop responds:

I've got a newer one, I just haven't been arsed to replace it.

Okay...

To be fair the jokes were too Halo based, and I don't particularly like Halo. However the animation as a whole was alright, although the sound was a bit crackly at the beginning. So all in all, pretty decent parody, but perhaps a bit to centralised on Halo, so maybe a parody of Halo and other things would be cool! Nice score though :)

Wow.

I remember watching 21 O' Clock Street The Movie and thinking "this is amazing, it shows that the clock crew is capable of producing great things".

This was better. With the element of parody attached, Lord Of The Rings fans I'm sure will like this, and so will the Clock Crew and it's admirers.

I am no big fan of Lord Of The Rings or general Clock Crew movies, but this truly is a Flash movie of the highest order. Animated very well, with thought and graphics that look great and smooth and well planned movement, from an artist's point of view like myself, I appreciate the effort that you have put in, and this end result. The voice of the narrator added a lot too, and the clever use of colours and style really made this a good movie, and I really would like to see all of the following movies to come.

This movie not only shows your great skill as a Flash artist, but the huge boost to the Clock Crew that your movies will be.

Thanks for a great movie :)

Thank you for a great review <3

Unbelievable

This is taking Flash to another level... absolutely incredible graphics, style and animation, great voicing, and the humour was sublime.

I couldn't ask for anything more, and this was worth the long wait :)

Congratulations, this is the world's greatest - 100%

Nice

I thought the graphics had been done well here, and I always love a good blurring effect, even though I have no idea how you did it so successfully. Game parodies have the potential to be great, and this certainly carried out a lot of that potential.

Keep up the good work, and T_D, I'll mail you to beta test something for me when it's done :P

Nice work, make part two soon :D

Have...

a review crew pick :D I like your style, it's pretty cool, and I enjoyed the other collab.

Xionico responds:

thanks, i hope i do get review crew pick =D, but seeing that LF also posted his flash, that will be hard...ill check how much score it has

Lol...

Amazing, pure genius, no one should ever doubt your ability. I'm not a huge Resi Evil fan, but this was great, and deserves every vote of 5 it gets. I hope I'm still in with a chance of an award today, but if I don't get one, at least I was 'done' by the best.

You may take a lot of negativity from people saying you've lost your touch, get people to animate for you, and choose the best for your collabs so they do well, but this shouts 'SHUT THE HELL UP' in their faces. I understand you are a busy animator, and the most watched artist by the Newgrounds community, but I hope you read this review and know that you've done yourself proud.

98% - Sublime.

Wow

That was a great movie! Well animated and a brilliant storyline and setting. This really could make a brilliant series! Usually, the sound in a movie isn't overly exciting, but here, the collection of catchy tunes from DK and Rare really fitted in exceptionally well. This deserves front page, no question. It was also pretty damn funny especially the way that the sacred fish just pulls an old lady out of the water and when it cuts to the policemen lying in a pool of blood after the gunfight.

Brilliant.
