Jak 3: The Journey Back

"..."

date: July 31, 2005

The game is great. There is nothing more to it; it's just the few glitches within it that can be faulted, and it's a shame they have been faulted so critically. I really think that if you fix this up and rid those glitches you should submit a fixed 'Gold Edition' or something. It would be a shame to waste the huge amount of content in the game, due to a 'jumping glitch'. I still think it's a remarkable achievement in Flash, well done.

... this is in the Top 50 of All Time, and at the moment is #2, and the highest ranked game...

Now that tells us something - what an amazing achievement for anything, but this is a 'PRELOADER GAME' :D ! Probably the highest score for a preloading entertainment ever, but it deserves it. A quirky little RPG, starring loads of Flash artists and characters, with lots of humour, and challenge while it lasts.

This is taking Flash to another level... absolutely incredible graphics, style and animation, great voicing, and the humour was sublime.

I couldn't ask for anything more, and this was worth the long wait :)

Congratulations, this is the world's greatest - 100%

I thought the graphics had been done well here, and I always love a good blurring effect, even though I have no idea how you did it so successfully. Game parodies have the potential to be great, and this certainly carried out a lot of that potential.

Keep up the good work, and T_D, I'll mail you to beta test something for me when it's done :P

Nice work, make part two soon :D

Green & Black

"A great colour restricted collab..."

With all those song collabs out there, this is a breath of fresh air, and is a nice and original idea, and is much harder to work with than you think.

The_Mercenary's game has the 3D graphics of a standard that would be almost comparable to DS games, Glaiel's game is fun and addictive, Chimney's is, well.... :D, reedo11's also addictive if you stick at it and ewater's is a nice classic shooter.

You go Green & Black!

Amazing, pure genius, no one should ever doubt your ability. I'm not a huge Resi Evil fan, but this was great, and deserves every vote of 5 it gets. I hope I'm still in with a chance of an award today, but if I don't get one, at least I was 'done' by the best.

You may take a lot of negativity from people saying you've lost your touch, get people to animate for you, and choose the best for your collabs so they do well, but this shouts 'SHUT THE HELL UP' in their faces. I understand you are a busy animator, and the most watched artist by the Newgrounds community, but I hope you read this review and know that you've done yourself proud.

98% - Sublime.

That was a great movie! Well animated and a brilliant storyline and setting. This really could make a brilliant series! Usually, the sound in a movie isn't overly exciting, but here, the collection of catchy tunes from DK and Rare really fitted in exceptionally well. This deserves front page, no question. It was also pretty damn funny especially the way that the sacred fish just pulls an old lady out of the water and when it cuts to the policemen lying in a pool of blood after the gunfight.

Brilliant.

Do You Like Waffles?

"This is heroic!"

date: July 5, 2005

Do you like Waffles? I do now! They were seriously some of the best drawn graphics and characters I have EVER SEEN here on Newgrounds - the drawing style was brilliant. The song was simple and catchy - well chosen - and it was pretty dang humourous. This deserves frontpage.

One o'Clock Jump

"The best-made collaboration ..."

submission: One o'Clock Jump

... that I have seen on Newgrounds ever! Brilliantly put together, and every piece was sublime - I couldn't fault anybody's style, graphics or anything - the music was a change from the over-used style of collaboration music, and although it started to get a bit repetitive, the animation fitted so well. I love the elephants in the bubbles - a masterpiece, and how the transition from each scene to the next was so sweetly combined... fantastic - Well done and congratulations on your pieces everybody - especially to Luis, as it's hard to realise how much effort is needed merely to put all the pieces together into one - and it would be a crime for this not to achieve a Daily and a Weekly Award.
